Season 3 of the German with Stories podcast consists of 20 connected episodes that tell one continuous story. The episodes are suitable for German learners at A2 and B1 level.

In this season, you will accompany Rebecca and Nicholas from Canada as they travel around Germany, following the footsteps of Rebecca’s grandmother, Elizabeth. Each episode focuses on a different place and combines storytelling with language learning.

The story is set in the present, but there will be references to Elizabeth and her life in Germany. However, you don’t need to know her full backstory to follow the podcast. The parts set in the past and the parts set in the present are independent from each other as far as the storyline is concerned.

At the end of every episode, you’ll find comprehension and conversation questions to help you practice your German actively. Try to answer them orally or in writing, on your own or with a tutor.
